1st Monthly Meeting for East on Thu, 4th March 2pm Hong Kong
I'd like to start regular meetings, split between East and West due to the time difference, so everybody can attend without too much trouble. The first meeting for the East (Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia) will take place on Thu, 4th March at 6am UTC (7pm NZ, 5pm Sydney, 3pm Japan/Korea, 2pm China/Philippines/Malaysia, 1pm Thailand/Jakarta, 11:30am India), with link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81602639902?pwd=SDNva1FmOVFqUHZwaWRtVVFtTEZaUT09. Note that the meeting will be recorded and shared here so people from the West can watch what was discussed at the East group, and vice versa.

Thank you for joining. Here is the video and people from the West can watch what was debated there (an internal video, so don't share it with outsiders. Thank you!!)

Here are topics I'd like to discuss with you, but you can suggest more topics if you want.
1) How to reach uncovered and/or little-covered subregions: Africa, Oceania, South Asia, the Caribbean, Germanic Europe, Eastern Europe, former USSR and Middle-East
2) Review on the pamphlet on SSE: I've made my draft at Google Document. Please feel free to edit it.
3) Description on the SSE scene in each country, highlighting the historic background, (ex.: In my country the concept of SSE was introduced as social enterprises, so they're still considered to be the most representative sector, although in the last few years we've been seeing the growth of fair trade and organic farming.)
4) Any help you want from the global network (ex.: Recently I heard local currencies are an interesting tool to promote local economy, but my country is devoid of experts. Do you know whom to contact in this field?)
5) How to satisfy the East's demand for funds? (Quite often Easterners attend the international conference looking for potential funders for their projects and go back home frustrated because Westeners only want bla bla bla)
