Ecosocial Mapping

Ecosocial – A portmanteau word coined by Gaia University to emphasize the essential integration of ecological awareness with social design. Social refers to all aspects of human societies including economy, community, family and so on.

What exists? What's missing?

… and the one specifically relating to the import of datas from external sources:

To ease the import process, here is the geodata file of the "Map Autonomia Regional no Sul de Portugal".

As a quick reference, here are the ways each one categorize their geodatas:

The basic set of relevant informations looks to me like this:
Name
Description and Services
Geoposition coordinates
Postal address
Website address
Email address
Phone number
Also, the Permaculture Global plateform, hosting an interactive map and a database of the worldwide permaculture network, is somewhat inspiring by their use of badges:

Few years ago, Mozilla started a project named Open Badges that we could make use of and that might as well benefit the Ecoversity x Fediversity project. Here are some weblinks for those interested:
Open Badges are a lot like physical badges. They’re a symbol of achievement. Badges are:
Verifiable — The data inside proves what you’ve achieved.
Shareable — You can post your badges all over the web.
Portable — Take them with you in Backpacks.
Open Badges empower individuals to take their learning with them, wherever they go, building a rich picture of their lifelong learning journey. Thousands of organizations across the world already issue Open Badges, from non-profits to major employers to educational institutions at all levels.
The IPEN/CoLab showed interest for that initiative (up to start implementing it with Gaia University):

Here is the charter of an inspiring (to me) project dedicated to a similar objective, TRANSISCOPE.
Referencing Criteria
1. TRANSISCOPE aggregates citizen alternatives. They are initiated by individuals or groups of individuals who make their decisions independently of any administration, political party or religious institution.
2. These alternatives are concrete responses to a systemic crisis, whether at the local or global level. Whether it be, but not limited to, climate change, social crises, solidarity crises or the crisis of the capitalist economic model, these issues are seen as interconnected.
3. They seek to achieve one or more commons. They must demonstrate through their governance, their economic model, their organization of work or their investment choices that they are aiming at the common good and not the realization of a particular interest.
4. TRANSISCOPE affirms its refusal to integrate any violent, discriminatory, anti-democratic, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic or racist practice.
5. Finally, we value alternatives that are committed to openness, participation, and the sharing of their know-how, skills, knowledge or practices.
The first four criteria are cumulative and must be respected as a whole. The fifth criterion is important to us, but is not strictly mandatory.
This charter is re-examined by the TRANSISCOPE steering committee on an annual basis - at least - and can be modified by unanimous vote of the members.
The sources and partners commit themselves to provide alternatives that respect the charter.
