Comment from François Soulard: My concern is that the current global geopolitical chessboard is pushing a new state of realpolitik and power relationship. The mainstream economy is becoming more competitive, conflictive and predatory. It invites us to rethink about capitalism and the role os SSE. The value coming in the forth is resilience, combative economy and territory resistances.

Dear all, 

On the second day of our upcoming General Assembly we will continue our process regarding the revision of RIPESS Charter of Principles. Earlier we already asked for your input regarding the values and principles important to figure in the Charter. 

Now we are back to you with two questions we would also like to gather your answers to before our GA : 

Firstly, How do you speak and write about the significance of SE to your public. What are the narratives, theories of change if you like, that you use? 

Then secondly, what policy advocacy campaigns are you engaged in (directly or indirectly)? 

Thank you for sending your answers in by the first week of September! During the Assembly then, we will continue the work around our charter in the form of a World Cafe and plenary. All prior input will be taken with.

Au cours du deuxième jour de notre prochaine Assemblée générale (AG),nous poursuivrons notre processus de révision de la Charte du RIPESS. Nous vous avons déjà demandé votre avis sur les valeurs et les principes qu'il est important de faire figurer dans celle-ci.Aujourd'hui, nous revenons vers vous avec deux questions dont nous aimerions recueillir les réponses avant l'AG:

- Comment vous exprimez-vous et écrivez-vous sur l'importance de l'ESS à votre auditoire ? Quels sont les récits, autrement dit les théories du changement, que vous utilisez ?

- Quelles sont les campagnes de plaidoyer dans lesquelles vous êtesengagé.es (directement ou indirectement) ?

Merci de nous envoyer vos réponses avant la première semaine de septembre ! Pendant l'Assemblée, nous poursuivrons le travail autour de notre charte sous la forme d'un World Café et d'une séance plénière.Toutes les contributions préalables seront prises en compte.

1. In ZMAG we several methods to spread the significance of SSE: we have regular educational activities about SSE, and we are also presenting our Cooperative for Good Economy and its CSA model Food for Good as an example of SSE. We have a Support Center for SSE where we offer advice and consulting services for everyone who wants to implement SSE public policies and in line with the second question we work on advocacy work as well. All this is accompanied by printing materials, media work, and promotion.

2. This year is very important for us in this manner, because after many years of work, we finally have a documentary series Good Economy. It has six episodes and in the spring it was shown on channel 1 of the Croatian National Television program (HRT1). we worked with the scenarist and producers on the main actors that are presented in the documentary and about the script. Also, we are an active member of the Working Group for the development of Social Entrepreneurship of the Zagreb city.
