Regenerar Odemira:
É um Projeto de voluntariado europeu que traz 11 jovens à região de Odemira.

Associação de acolhimento Câmara municipal de Odemira.

Driver primario:
O GAIA Alentejo é parceiro de acolhimento dentro do projeto “Regenerar Odemira” e tem papel de consultoria perante o consórcio nas áreas da educação não formal, do trabalho de juventude a nível internacional e da prática de regeneração. 

Precisamos de uma abordagem estratégica para que o projecto “Regenerar Odemira” contribua significativamente para uma educação de qualidade na região, com resultados regenerativos práticos.

Objetivos concretos:

•  Fortalecer o trabalho na área da juventude a nível do concelho de Odemira através do reforço da rede de parcerias, da formação e do reconhecimento dos profissionais de juventude;

• Contribuir para a regeneração da região, através da diversificação de actividades com jovens de carácter ecológico e de valorização dos recursos locais naturais e culturais;

• Estimular junto dos jovens, de Odemira e voluntários internacionais, a cidadania activa através de iniciativas de solidariedade nas comunidades que os acolhem.

A recoversidade nasce de um projeto de estágio do José no GAIA Alentejo e em conjunto com a Rafaela foi criado um business model

Driver primario: O novo contexto rural com foco em São Luís oferece oportunidades de experimentação social que poderão levar a uma transição para um novo paradigma.

Para isto acontecer, precisamos de facilitar e criar o acesso a experiências educativas não formais que catalisem a integração social e a emergência de uma cultura COoperativa que nutra estilos de vida comunitários e regenerativos,

*O Espaço Nativa é uma delegação da Cooperativa Minga, com o propósito de aprender e receber mentoria para que no futuro próximo possa desenvolver a sua própria cooperativa em São Luís.  

Com o sistema actual a viver uma convergência de crises, emergem oportunidades para o empoderamento de um paradigma mais consciente na bio-região de S. Luís.

Espaço Nativa desenvolve-se sendo um espaço integrador e experimental que tem a intenção de estimular a cooperação, baseando-se em práticas que fomentam a economia local, a consciência de consumo, e a  promoção de dinâmicas culturais e educativas.

A experiência CO é o nexo de união entre o GAIA Alentejo e o Espaço Nativa.
Surgindo do GAIA Alentejo e nutrindo o propósito de integração de novos membros ao interior da organização do Espaço Nativa.

CO significa: Colaboração, Comunidade, Colectivo, Compromisso, Consciência, Conexão, Co-criação

A experiência de CO está a concentrar-se em três objectivos principais:

* Partilhar uma linguagem comum.

* Integração social.

* Aprendizagem experimental.

* Aprendizagem com a comunidade.

Durante o confinamento um grupo de atores do concelho de Odemira e São Luís começaram a preparar propostas para o OP 2020. Na qual o Movemento de Transição São Luís, GAIA Alentejo, Tamera e outros parceiros institucionais eram representados.
O OP é um financiamento participativo que promove projetos para o bem comun.

Regenerar o comum em comunidade

Conjunto de acções que visam gerar espaços e momentos de eco-aprendizagem e acção comunitária. Abordando em conjunto questões sobre adaptações climáticas e meio ambiente com o objetivo da coesão social e a regeneração ecológica.

Subpropostas:

(1) Dar continuidade ao Viveiro Comunitário,

(2)  Bosque Comunitário, incrementar a biodiversidade no monte da Junta de Freguesia, 

(3) Criar uma Horta Comunitária no Monte da Junta ou noutro terreno público

(4) Construir uma “Biblioteca do Bosque” 

(5) Promover a valorização da Fonte do Sobreiro, Poço do Braga e Fonte da Samboqueirinha, entre outras,
(6) Promover a restauração da Ribeira da Descabelada a jusante da ETAR por tratamento natural do efluente.

Primary driver:

We integrate the living landscape and the network of interdependence between beings that cohabit the territory. GAIA Alentejo is at the service of this life system.

Human structures disregard the network of interdependence and continue the pattern of over-exploitation of the landscape and degradation of natural nutrient cycles.

We need to appropriate rurality in a new way, towards the regeneration of the natural and social landscape and act from structures that nurture trust.

Primary driver: we are experiencing a convergence of crises and rural space is emerging as a pathway to a new paradigm. gaia alentejo sustains this party by creating experiential learning programmes that empower young people and stimulate an alter-native rurality with regenerative impact on the landscape, while cooperative networks are woven.

Regenerate Odemira

It is a European Volunteer Project that brings 11 young people to the region of Odemira. 2 Clara Lab, 2 Rota Vicentina, 2 GAIA Alentejo (Rafaela & Zosia), 2 Monte Mimo, 3 O Buinho

Host Association Câmara Municipal de Odemira.

Primary driver: GAIA Alentejo is a host partner within the "Regenerate Odemira" project and has an advisory role to the consortium in the areas of non-formal education, international youth work and regeneration practice. 

We need a strategic approach for the "Regenerate Odemira" project to make a significant contribution to quality education in the region with practical regenerative outcomes.

Concrete objectives:

To strengthen youth work at the level of the municipality of Odemira by strengthening the partnership network, training and recognition of youth workers;

To contribute to the regeneration of the region through the diversification of ecological activities with young people and the valorisation of local natural and cultural resources;

To stimulate active citizenship among young people in Odemira and international volunteers through solidarity initiatives in their host communities.

rECOversity

Recoversity was born from a project of José's internship at GAIA Alentejo and together with Rafaela it was created a business model

Primary driver: The new rural context with focus on São Luís offers opportunities for social experimentation that could lead to a transition to a new paradigm.

For this to happen, we need to facilitate and create access to non-formal educational experiences that catalyse social integration and the emergence of a COoperative culture that nurtures communal and regenerative lifestyles,

*The Nativa Space is a delegation of the Minga Cooperative, with the purpose of learning and receiving mentoring so that in the near future you can develop your own cooperative in São Luís.  

With the current system experiencing a convergence of crises, opportunities emerge for the empowerment of a more conscious paradigm in the bio-region of São Luís.

Espaço Nativa is developed as an integrative and experimental space that intends to stimulate cooperation, based on practices that foster local economy, consumer awareness, and the promotion of cultural and educational dynamics.

The experience CO is the nexus of union between GAIA Alentejo and the Native Space.Emerging from GAIA Alentejo and nurturing the purpose of integrating new members to the interior of the Native Space organization.

 Experience CO:

CO stands for: Collaboration, Community, Collective, Commitment, Awareness, Connection, Co-creation.

The CO experience is focusing on three main objectives:

* Sharing a common language.

* Social integration.

* Regeneration in practice.

The programme is based on:

* Experiential learning.

* Learning with the community.

* Relational education.

Regenerating the commons in community

Set of actions aimed at generating spaces and moments of eco-learning and community action. Jointly addressing issues on climate adaptations and environment with the aim of social cohesion and ecological regeneration.

Sub-proposals:

(1) Continue the Community Nursery,

(2) Community Forest, to increase biodiversity on the Monte da Junta

(3) Create a Community Garden on the Council Hill or other public land

(4) To build a "Forest Library

(5) To promote the valorisation of the "Fonte do Sobreiro", "Poço do Braga" and "Fonte da Samboqueirinha", among others,

(6) To promote the restoration of the Ribeira da Descabelada downstream of the ETAR by natural treatment of the effluent.
