We had a meeting between Ripess Europe (Jason, Juliette, Berenice) and Sandra Guilmin, one of the organizers of the Strasbourg event. We had a little update about the different propositions of workshops from Ripess EU members and we share here with you the notes from the meeting.
Context
- In total, 170 contributions received: they are all accepted
- the idea is to group them by major themes (the structures will be contacted by March 11 for a proposal of grouping by theme)
- different thematic spaces: youth, transitions, cooperation (experimentation, social innovation), territories (in connection with PP), financing (space dedicated to European funds/programs - promotion of funds)
- several possible forms: workshops, mini-conferences, conference room etc
PROPOSALS IN CONNECTION WITH RIPESS EU
- Lisbon University Institute (EUROGen research)
- Ripess Int + URGENCI
- MES France
- Mouvement SOL
- You'conomy
- APDES
- RTES
- Tech net 'Social Economy Berlin'
Review of the proposals
- You'conomy: in progress / location: youth village (dedicated space of 2000m2 - about 100 invited young people - mainly French) / event will focus on youth and dialogue between young people and a final declaration
- URGENCI: in progress / space of transitions (proposal managed by ESS France)
- Lisbon University / EUROGEN (Ana Margarita Esteves): in progress / possibility on the space of European programs (because it is a research-action)
- MES France: in progress / space cooperation (social innovation)
- Mouvement SOL: in progress / space cooperation (in direct link with the local currency of Strasbourg)
- APDES: on SSE VET - missed communication (since Sofia left APDES) ... perhaps in connection with other structures on training
- RTES (in connection with REVES) / space: territories / 3 proposals in total
- Technet + Social Eco Berlin: in progress / space: social innovation (managed by RTES / REVES)

Thanks Jason
Just one correction please: the workshop we are proposing is essentially RIPESS EU, not intercontinental! With at least 3 different RIPESS EU members hopefully.
I will send notes on the meeting we had yesterday with ESS France early next week Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the Orange network.

Actually I can share this already. It is the result of the collective preparatory work we have done so far. I have not yet shared it with the speakers but will be doing so on Monday
You can see that it is indeed RIPESS EU members that make up the core of the speakers
In solidarity

The Conference "Social Economy, The Future of Europe" will take place in one month.
We have now a draft program which will be soon finalised and is starting to appear on the official website: https://www.economiesociale-futur.eu/fr/economiesocialefutur/Programme-du-5-et-6-mai
Don't forget to register if you haven't done it yet: https://live.eventtia.com/en/economiesocialefutureen/Registration

Here is the shared document with the events that RIPESS Europe members are organising and promoting: https://cloud.ripess.eu/index.php/s/64ZY4TDMbmqjqJo
You are welcome to add and make corrections / updates: we should use this document as a reference
It would also be important to share information on participation to other workshops and meetings - including the ones organised by RTES on the 4th of May.
We will try to have at least one meeting each day (5 and 6 of May) in order to brief and inform each other.
We will prepare some communication materials about RIPESS Europe to share and distribute.
Any other suggestion is more than welcome!

There is a major mistake in the translation into French of the workshop I am moderating: not du plat au plat but "de l'hameçon à l'assiette". I have told the organisers to fix it.
And happy to confirm that there will indeed be 4 RIPESS EU speakers; Isa from Urgenci, Monika from Eco Foundation in Poland and Filipa from Open Food Network (member of Solid Network in Ireland) and Patricia Andriot, from RTES; also speakers from other SSE/social movements (Geneviève Savigny European Coordination Via Campesina, Giulia Tarsitano, Eurocoop)/+ 3 university researchers...

Many thanks, Drazen. I have a call with the people designated to organise the grouping of proposals this afternoon at 2pm CET on our proposal on agroecology and the ecological transition. Pleas let me know if you want to join?
